About Javahir Ahmadova

Javahir grew up in Baku, Azerbaijan and began her higher education studying a Bachelor of Business Administration at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. She received the Azerbaijani Youth Abroad scholarship and transferred to a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University.

Javahir participated in a short-term exchange at Washington State University’s Youth Leadership Program with Azerbaijan, and spent a semester abroad at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark where she studied marketing, neuroeconomics and international leadership.

She is currently a member of the Global Leadership Program (GLP) at Macquarie University, and is taking part in a consulting project for the NSW Global Scope Program.

Having lived in four countries across three continents, Javahir has strong cross-cultural understanding and strives to expand her knowledge and experience of international business. She speaks English, Russian and Azeri fluently, along with basic Danish and Spanish.
