Dubai Airport Freezone Supports Outstanding Australian Exporters
Dearin & Associates was proud to represent the Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) at the prestigious Premier’s NSW Export Awards on the evening of Thursday 23 October, 2014 at Doltone House in Sydney.
The Premier's NSW Export Awards recognise New South Wales’ businesses for excellence and achievement in exporting - rewarding and profiling the best of the best enterprises in exporting from around the state.
On DAFZA’s behalf, Cynthia Dearin, Managing Director of Dearin & Associates presented the Online Sales Award to Sydney-based firm, Shoes of Prey, which was founded in 2009 by Jodie Fox, Michael Fox and Mike Knapp.

Speaking from Dubai, Mr. Jamal Bin Marghoob, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications department at DAFZA congratulated Shoes of Prey on the award and said that DAFZA was delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the category.
“We are proud to support outstanding Australian exporters, and keen to encourage them to establish themselves in Dubai, a city which presents abundant opportunities for entrepreneurial export companies”, he said.

The Freezone helps international and local organisations start their businesses in Dubai by assisting them to obtain a business license and set up operations in the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) commercial capital.
