Mark is a global professional, with a track record of delivering projects and policy and managing large budgets and teams.

Mark has deep personal and professional experience in international trade and investment, developed over 20 years in senior roles in the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East and South Asia. Mark’s experience in food and agriculture, manufacturing, education and defence is significant, and whilst in Saudi Arabia, Mark was responsible for a $1b defence sales pipeline, and – across several locations – the entry of hundreds of new companies to the Middle East and South Asia.

As a former diplomat, and the Australian Government’s Senior Trade Commissioner based in the Arabian Gulf and then in India and Pakistan, Mark brings a wealth of experience and insight to businesses wishing to drive their business globally.

With undergraduate degrees in Economics and Arabic, a post-graduate degree in International Business and a doctoral degree in law from Monash University Law School, Mark is well equipped to advise businesses on risk, governance, strategy and sales. Mark has published a book on an area of international law, and is an experienced board director at a range of public, private and not-for-profit organisations.
